Hierarchy Policy
Use the Hierarchy Policy window to configure the hierarchy policy for a Container Icon Tree or Container Details Tree. A hierarchy policy has the following properties:
•height
•lines
•width
childlessIconDescriptor
The childlessIconDescriptor property specifies the graphic to use as the icon for items that have no children. This property is valid only if the iconTypes property is set to AbtTREEHIERARCHYUSERDEFINED.
collapsedIconDescriptor
The collapsedIconDescriptor property specifies the graphic to use as the icon for items that have children but are currently collapsed. This property is valid only if the iconTypes property is set to AbtTREEHIERARCHYUSERDEFINED.
collapsingDownIconDescriptor
The collapsingDownIconDescriptor property specifies the graphic to use as the icon for an item that is collapsing while the mouse button is down. This property is valid only if the iconTypes property is set to AbtTREEHIERARCHYUSERDEFINED.
collapsingUpIconDescriptor
The collapsingUpIconDescriptor property specifies the graphic to use as the icon for an item that is collapsing while the mouse button is up. This property is valid only if the iconTypes property is set to AbtTREEHIERARCHYUSERDEFINED.
expandedIconDescriptor
The expandedIconDescriptor property specifies the graphic to use as the icon for items that have children and are currently expanded. This property is valid only if the iconTypes property is set to AbtTREEHIERARCHYUSERDEFINED.
expandingDownIconDescriptor
The expandingDownIconDescriptor property specifies the graphic to use as the icon for an item that is expanding while the mouse button is down. This property is valid only if the iconTypes property is set to AbtTREEHIERARCHYUSERDEFINED.
expandingUpIconDescriptor
The expandingUpIconDescriptor property specifies the graphic to use as the icon for an item that is expanding while the mouse button is up. This property is valid only if the iconTypes property is set to AbtTREEHIERARCHYUSERDEFINED.
height
The height property specifies the height, in pixels, of the buttons used in the hierarchy for the container icon tree.
iconTypes
The iconTypes property specifies what type of icons to use for the hierarchy buttons in the container icon tree. The following choices are available:
•AbtTREEHIERARCHYBUTTONS (Hierarchy buttons)
•AbtTREEHIERARCHYNONE (No icons)
•AbtTREEHIERARCHYTRIANGLES (Triangles)
•AbtTREEHIERARCHYUSERDEFINED (User defined icons)
indentationWidth
The indentationWidth property specifies the amount of space, in pixels, that you want between the hierarchy lines and the hierarchy buttons.
leftMargin
The leftMargin property specifies the amount of space, in pixels, that you want to the left of the hierarchy lines.
lines
The lines property indicates whether you want to display the hierarchy lines.
rightMargin
The rightMargin property specifies the amount of space, in pixels, that you want to the right of the hierarchy lines.
width
The width property specifies the width, in pixels, of the hierarchy buttons.
