If you get a lot of reference to excluded pool... messages in the debugger when reducing, it generally means you forgot to add a leaf IC's prerequisite ICs during the Modify Instructions step. You do this once you have added the applications you want packaged to the leaf IC to be created by using the Default ICs button. All entries in the middle pane should have a corresponding IC entry except those intended to be part of the current IC you are packaging.
