Attachment types
Attachments can be tagged as a specific type, either binary or text. You specify the type when storing an attachment; you can later change the type at any time.
The type affects only the retrieval of attachments. For text attachments, the contents of the attachment are localized for the platform when the attachment is retrieved. This means that the line delimiter is corrected for the target platform, regardless of how the attachment is stored in the library. This is like the strategy used for storing other VA Smalltalk text objects, such as method source, comments, or notes.
