Attaching non-Smalltalk files
Many applications use a variety of non-Smalltalk files--such as icons, help files, bitmaps, NLS string tables, DLLs, and other file formats. Application attachments help manage these non-Smalltalk files.
Tips
Every time you store an attachment the size of the library increases. Thus, use only attachments when versioning at the end of the development cycle, that is, after you have finished developing key application components and run regression tests.
