Filing in components stored in the generic chunk format
If you filed out components in the generic (non-VAST) chunk format, the source file does not fully describe each component. Thus, when you file in an application, private methods become public methods and other changes to the structure of your components can occur.
To file in components that have the generic chunk format, you follow steps similar to those given above, except you must also do the following before your select a File In option:
If you are filing in an application that does not exist in the target image, create an application having the same name as the one you are filing in.
Select the containing application for the subapplication, class, or method you are filing in from the list of applications. If you are filing in a method, select the containing class also.
