How can I convert my Trial installation to a licensed version of VAST Platform?

Note:

Beginning in VAST Platform (VA Smalltalk) v10.0.0, a VAST Platform virtual machine is shipped which has been purpose-built for licensed files. Once you purchase VAST there is no evaluation dialog when you launch VAST.

Solution

For those newly licensed VAST users that would like to upgrade their trial version to a licensed version of the software, consider which situation fits best.

If you a have a trial of VAST Platform installed with code you do not want to lose, please find this upgrade information in our VAST Support Portal 24000072385: How to upgrade a VAST Trial to a Licensed version.

If you do not have code or VAST images to save, simply uninstall the Trial and install the licensed version.
