What to do before packaging your application

Before you begin packaging your application;

1.	Review the section Packaging guidelines to ensure that your application meets the prerequisites for successful packaging. These guidelines help you identify potential issues in your application that could cause problems in your packaged image.

2.	Make sure all the classes are released into their Application, and verify that all the pieces of your application load properly into a clean development image (abt.icx or ibmst.icx). Fix any errors before starting the packager.

Packaging takes place on code loaded into an image. The code to be packaged must load in order for the packaging to succeed.
