Recovering from image crashes This section describes the procedures to follow when you lose changes to an image, either by exiting without saving or by the system terminating unexpectedly. All of the changes can be recovered. To recover changes to an image, you complete these basic steps: 1. Request that the system check the consistency of the image with the library. 2. Revise your image by recovering components that were lost. To protect your investment in the code being developed in VA Smalltalk or IBM Smalltalk, back up your library files frequently.
