Purging configuration maps
To purge a configuration map using standard browsers, do the following:
1.
Select Browse Configuration Maps from the Tools menu to open a Configuration Maps Browser.
2.
From the list of configuration maps, select the configuration maps you want to purge.
3.
If you want to purge a specific edition, select the edition of the map to purge.
4.
From the Names menu (or the Editions menu if you selected an edition), select Purge.
5.
When prompted, select Yes to confirm the purge operation; to cancel, select No.
To salvage configuration maps, select the Salvage option of the Names or Editions menu.
To purge a configuration map using TrailBlazer, do the following:
1.
Open a TrailBlazer on Configuration Maps.
2.
Select the configuration map to purge. You can select more than one map at a time while pressing the Ctrl key.
3.
Select Purge from the pop-up menu.
4.
When prompted, select Yes to confirm the purge operation; to cancel, select No.
To salvage configuration maps, select Salvage > Configuration Maps from the Library menu.
