Steps

To export a version of an application or subapplication, do the following:

1.	Open an Application Manager.

2.	From the list of applications, select the application version you want to export.

3.	From the Applications menu, select Export. One or more windows open, prompting you for the location and name of the library storing the component.

4.	Enter the library location. If you want to use native (FILE I/O) access, blank out the entry field; if you want to use shared (EMSRV) access, type the hostname or IP address of the EMSRV machine. Press OK.

Enter the library name. In the file selection prompter, either select the file that is the target of the export operation or type its full pathname and filename.

The system moves a copy of the application version from the library you are currently using to the target library. Unless you requested that only the selected application be copied by setting the flag moveAllSubApplicationsToo to false, The system also moves all subapplication versions of the application version.
