Exporting user objects

To export a user object, do the following:

1.	From the Tools menu, select System > Users > Export. One or more windows open, prompting you for the location and name of the library storing the component.

2.	Enter the library location. If you want to use native (FILE I/O) access, blank out the entry field; if you want to use shared (EMSRV) access, type the hostname or IP address of the EMSRV machine. Press OK.

Enter the library name. In the file selection prompter, either select the file that is the target of the export operation or type its full pathname and filename.

3.	Select the user object you want to export. To select more than one, press the Ctrl key while you select the user objects.

4.	Select OK. The system moves a copy of each user object from the library you are currently using to the target library.
