Creating configuration maps: The basic steps
Configuration maps can be created by using a standard Configuration Maps Browser, or a TrailBlazer.
Using a Configuration Maps Browser
To create a configuration map, complete the following steps:

From the Names menu, select Create. A window opens, prompting you to name the new configuration map.

Select OK. A new configuration map is created. As the creator of the configuration map edition, you are its manager.

Using a TrailBlazer
To create a configuration map using a TrailBlazer, complete the following steps:

You can add notes and comments to the configuration map. To do this, select either Notes or Comment from the drop-down property list. Add the notes and comments; then save the pane.
