Preconditions To load an edition of a method: • The application containing the method must be an edition. If it is not, the system creates a scratch edition of the application before loading the method edition. If the system cannot create the application edition because you do not have access privileges, then the load operation will not succeed. • The class into which you will load the method must be an edition. If it is not, an edition is created automatically before the new method edition is loaded. If a new class edition cannot be created, the load will not succeed.
