Starting your product

The first thing you probably want to know is how to start up a VA Smalltalk development environment.

This guide assumes that you have installed VA Smalltalk. (If not, refer to the information on installation in Getting Started and the Installation Guide.). The VA Smalltalk installation program also installs a tool called Environments which you can use to create and start a VA Smalltalk development environment.

You can start VA Smalltalk by doing the following:

•	launch Environments

•	Use it to create a VA Smalltalk development environment

•	Use if to launch a VA Smalltalk development environment
