Adding OLE controls to your VA Smalltalk application

The OLE Support feature enables you to import OLE controls (OCXs) into your image and use them in VA Smalltalk. The feature converts OLE controls to VA Smalltalk parts, allowing you to use numerous commercially available OLE controls in your VA Smalltalk applications.

This section also shows how to wrap an OLE control. A wrapped control can be added to the free-form surface of a Composition Editor using the Add Part choice of the Options menu. You can use a wrapped control the same way as any visual part. Unless you are creating a simple application, you will likely want to use wrapped OLE controls.
