Adding a CICS Program
To add a CICS Program part to your application, follow these steps:
1. Select the CICS category on the parts palette.
2. Select the CICS Program part.
3. Add the selected part to an empty area of the free-form surface.
4. Open the Settings of the CICS Program part and specify the information necessary for the CICS ECI transaction:
o The CICS Transaction ID.
o The CICS Program name.
o The CICS Server name which is the server the transaction is sent to. This is a drop-down list that is initialized with the names of the CICS servers defined in your CICSCLI.INI file.
o The Transaction timeout, in seconds.
o The User ID for CICS transactions.
o The Password for CICS transactions.
