From the Quick Start window, you create an application as follows:
1. Select Create a new part.
2. In the Application name field, name your application. Use a unique name.
3. In the Part class field, name your part (or part class). Similarly, use a unique name.
4. Select OK.
VA Smalltalk creates your application. VA Smalltalk also creates the part class and opens a Composition Editor on it. You're all set to make your software.
