To specify the example computed column
((WAGES.SALARY - WAGES.TAXES) * 12) + WAGES.BONUS
do the following:
1. In the Left operand field, select WAGES.SALARY from the list.
2. In the Operator field, select - from the list.
3. In the Right operand field, select WAGES.TAXES from the list.
4. Select Add to operand lists.
5. In the Left operand field, select (WAGES.SALARY - WAGES.TAXES) from the list.
6. In the Operator field, select * from the list.
7. In the Right operand field, type 12.
8. Select Add to operand lists.
9. In the Left operand field, select ((WAGES.SALARY - WAGES.TAXES) * 12) from the list.
10. In the Operator field, select + from the list.
11. In the Right operand field, select WAGES.BONUS from the list.
