You can leave the Report Tester open while you are developing a report, but you will need to update the window whenever your report information changes. To update the Report Tester window, select Refresh from the Report menu of the Report Tester.

This menu option updates the content of the report. To see changes in the layout or format of your report, you need to open a new Report Tester.
