Generating an error report
A debugger offers several ways to record an error report.
To write a message stack to a file, select Copy Stack Trace Text from the Stack menu. Then, open a Workspace, paste in the copied text, and save the contents of the Workspace.
Or, for a more detailed error report, select Save Stack Trace Text As from the Stack menu. This prompts you for a file name and copies a message stack to the selected file. Use this option if the message stack is too large to copy fully to the clipboard.
Generating a System Configuration Report
The system report is a superset of details found at beginning of a walkback log (sometimes referred to as an error report.)
To generate a system select System Configuration Report from the Help pull down menu of the Transcript. The report will be written to the Transcript.
