INSERT statement
To specify the example SQL INSERT statement 
INSERT INTO EMPLOYEE
   (AGE, CITY, JOBCODE, NAME, STATE, STATUS)
   VALUES (:AGE, :CITY, 34, :CUSTNAME, :STATE, NULL)
do the following: 
1.	In the Query name field, type a name for the INSERT statement. 
2.	In the Description field, type a description for the INSERT statement. 
3.	In the Table/view field, select EMPLOYEE from the drop-down list. 
4.	From the Columns pop-up menu, select Select all. 
5.	In the INSERT columns list, select NAME. 
6.	In the Column value field, type CUSTNAME. 
7.	From the Column value pull-down menu, select Host variable :x. 
8.	In the INSERT columns list, select JOBCODE. 
9.	In the Column value field, type 34. 
10.	In the INSERT columns list, select STATUS. 
11.	From the Column value pull-down menu, select NULL.
