Selecting grids, cells, rows, and columns
For some operations, you must first select a grid cell, row, or column, or the entire grid. Which part of the grid you select depends upon where you place the mouse pointer when you perform the selection.
•To select a cell, place the mouse pointer over the center of the cell and click mouse button 1.
•To select a row, place the mouse pointer over the left edge of the row you want to select and click mouse button 1.
•To select a column, place the mouse pointer over the top edge of the column you want to select and click mouse button 1.
•To select the entire grid, place the mouse pointer in the upper left corner of the grid and click mouse button 1.
