The VA Smalltalk class library has been modified and extended to include Bidi specific classes to enable you to manipulate Bidi text and change its Bidi attributes (orientation, shape, and so on).

The main Bidi class is AbtBasicView from which all the Bidi-supported classes inherit their attributes. Some children classes for AbtBasicView are not Bidi supported, yet they have Bidi attributes in their properties sheet. For these classes, the attributes will simply have no effect.

Two new Bidi specific classes are added to the current library, AbtBidiSpec and CwBidiSpec. These classes hold the Bidi values in the Abt and Cw layers, respectively.
