Building visual parts
This chapter covers the concepts and techniques involved in building composite visual parts. You will learn how to create a simple composite part, a tool bar, and use it in an application. Throughout this chapter the generic settings view is used in the examples. Unless otherwise noted, the settings view used in this chapter is Generic settings.
A composite visual part is made up of other parts, including visual and nonvisual parts. You can also build a composite visual part using other composite visual parts. Composite visual parts are often the easiest parts to build, because you use the Composition Editor to do most of the work.
Let's build a tool bar to show how easy building a visual part is.
