Type several lines of text into the Multi-line Edit part making sure that some string occurs in a few different places. Click mouse button 1 at the top-most, left-most position in the Multi-line Edit part to start the search from the beginning of the text you entered.

Click mouse button 2 (mouse button 3 on UNIX systems) on the Multi-line Edit part to access its pop-up menu and select Find. The Find Dialog window should open.

Type some text into the Find Dialog's Text part. Be sure to use some text that appears in the Multi-line Edit part. Select OK, and the desired text should be found and selected in the Multi-line Edit part. Select OK again and the next occurrence will be found.
