Application groups
Each application edition has a group of users called the application group. Application groups serve as a project management aid, because they allow the development team to be structured along functional lines.
An application's manager and all owners of classes contained in the application are members of the application's group by default. Other users can also be members of its group. Only group members can access the code for the classes contained in the application edition.
Each edition of an application can have a separate application group. This means, for example, that an application that is undergoing split stream development can have different application groups assigned to each development stream. Each development stream is represented by a different edition.
