Preconditions
To import a class, application, subapplication, or configuration map:
•The component must be a version.
•The component version you want to import cannot already exist in the target library.
These preconditions, and the time stamps, help prevent many copies of a given version from existing in many libraries. If a component version already exists in the target library, the system imports only those components that do not already exist in the target library.
When selecting the target library, do not select the library you are currently using. This can lock the server and suspend importing by anyone using the team library. If you inadvertently try to import a component from the library you are currently using, the system displays a message informing you of this. To respond, simply close the message box and select the appropriate target library.
