Comparing applications contained in two editions of a configuration map
Comparing two editions of a single configuration map reveals what applications and classes have changed from one edition to another.
To compare two editions of a configuration map, do the following:
1. In a Configuration Maps Browser, select a map and two of its editions.
2. From the Editions menu, select Browse Changes. (To open a Configuration Maps Browser, select Browse Configuration from the Tools menu of the Transcript.)
If the contents of the maps are different, the Application Changes Browser names all components that are not the same for both editions. It lists changed applications (upper left pane), changed classes (upper middle pane), and changed methods (upper right pane). If the Application Changes Browser has empty panes, then the contents of the map editions are identical.
