If you know what application you want to load
To load one or more applications into your image using standard browsers, do the following:
1. Open an Application Manager or Applications Browser.
2. From the Applications menu, select Load > Available. A window opens, listing applications that are in the library but not in your image.
3. From the list of applications (left pane), select the application you want to load.
4. From the list of editions (middle pane), select the edition you want to load.
5. Select >> to add the edition to the list of selected editions.
6. Repeat steps 3, 4, and 5 if you want to load other applications.
7. Select OK. The system checks the prerequisites for the selected application edition. If prerequisites also need to be loaded, a window is displayed asking you whether you want the prerequisites loaded.
8. To confirm that the load operation can proceed, select OK. To cancel the load operation, select Cancel. The application and any prerequisites are loaded together.
To load an application into your image using TrailBlazer, do the following:
1. Open a TrailBlazer on Loaded Applications.
2. Select All Applications from the first list pane drop-down list. The list shows applications that are in the library but not in your image.
3. Select the application you want to load. The second list pane fills with the editions of the application.
4. In the Editions pane, select the edition you want to load.
5. From the Editions pop-up menu, select Load. The system checks the prerequisites for the selected application edition. If prerequisites also need to be loaded, a window is displayed asking you whether you want the prerequisites loaded.
6. To confirm that the load operation can proceed, select OK. To cancel the load operation, select Cancel. The application and any prerequisites are loaded together.
