Other report functions
This chapter explains some other functions that you can add to your reports. It provides instructions for doing the following:
•Adding field breaks to report iterators
•Including complex calculations in a report
•Creating reusable report forms
•Enabling objects for reporting
The examples in this chapter use the SAMPLE database, which you can access either through VA Smalltalk's IBM database support or through its ODBC database support. The sections on field breaks and complex calculations also include examples of using the formatted event to trigger other report functions. Throughout the examples in this chapter are instructions and tips for formatting and laying out reports.
