Time Customize fields
Minimum
In the Minimum field, type the lower limit for the range of values that will be accepted as valid.
Maximum
In the Maximum field, type the upper limit for the range of values that will be accepted as valid.
24 hour format
Select 24 hour format to display the time using the numbers 0 through 23 for the hour.
Show seconds
Select Show seconds to indicate that seconds should be included as part of the time value.
AM
In the AM field, type the symbol to be used to indicate a time between midnight and noon. The default is AM.
PM
In the PM field, type the symbol to be used to indicate a time between noon and midnight. The default is PM.
Separator
In the Separator field, type the symbol to be used between the hour and the minutes and between the minutes and seconds, if the seconds are shown. The default separator depends upon the locale defaults for your system.
Default value
Under Default value, select of the following time defaults to use if the part does not receive a value at run time:
Current time
Set the default date to the current system time at run time.
Constant date
Set the default value to a constant time specified in the adjacent field.
None
No default value is provided.
Note:
For a part that receives direct user input (such as a text entry field), the value specified in the Default field is used only if a user interacts with the field but leaves it empty. If the field never receives input focus, its value remains nil.
Preview
Use the Preview fields to preview how the current settings values affect the object that will be created based on the input value. The area to the right of the text entry field shows how the text in that field is converted into the appropriate data type based upon the current settings.
If the displayed value is wider than the display area, use the left arrowor right arrowbutton to scroll the contents.
