Multi-row Query attributes
accessSetName (String)
The accessSetName attribute represents the name of a class in your application which is used to store the application specifications for your query, stored procedure, and connection specifications.
autoCommit (Boolean)
The autoCommit attribute specifies whether you want updates made to the data automatically committed to the database.
blockedFetching (Boolean)
The blockedFetching attribute specifies whether you want rows retrieved from the database in blocks or one at a time.
blockedFetchSize (Integer)
The blockedFetchSize attribute represents the size of the block that you want to fetch. If this attribute is set to nil, the database manager sets the size of the block.
If blockedFetching attribute is set to false, this attribute is ignored. Some database managers to not allow you to choose the size of the block, so this attribute may be ignored.
connectionAlias (String)
The connectionAlias attribute specifies the connection specification, which contains the database manager and data source name for the query.
databaseManagerClass (String)
The databaseManagerClass attribute represents the name of the class for the database manager.
Note:
Use the connectionAlias attribute instead of this one to determine the database connection specifications. This attribute is maintained for backward compatibility.
databaseManagerName (String)
The databaseManagerName attribute represents the name of the database manager.
Note:
Use the connectionAlias attribute instead of this one to determine the database connection specifications. This attribute is maintained for backward compatibility.
databaseName (String)
The databaseName attribute represents the name of the database.
Note:
Use the connectionAlias attribute instead of this one to determine the database connection specifications. This attribute is maintained for backward compatibility.
deferUpdates (Boolean)
The deferUpdates attribute specifies whether you want updates sent when the current row changes. If this attribute is set to false, updates are sent when the changes are applied.
errorBlock (BlockContextTemplate)
The errorBlock attribute represents the block of code that is run when an error occurs in the data access code.
executed
The executed attribute indicates whether the query has been executed or not.
lastError (<className>)
The lastError attribute is the last error that occurred. You can tear off the lastError attribute to access the error information.
lobDefinitionSpec (Collection)
The lobDefinitionSpec attribute contains a collection of definitions for each result column that has a LOB (large object) data type (BLOB, CLOB, or DBCLOB).
lockCurrentRow (Boolean)
The lockCurrentRow attribute specifies whether you want to lock the current row. If this attribute is set to true, a cursor is opened in the database to lock the row, whenever the current row is set.
maximumNumberRows (Integer)
The maximumNumberRows attribute specifies the maximum number of rows that can be returned by the running this query. The default is to return all rows (value is nil).
packageSpecName
The name of the database package specification that the query (and any necessary generated queries) will be stored in. A package specification is used to make SQL statements run as static SQL rather than dynamic. To ensure that all necessary SQL statements are generated and included in the package specification, you should set the value of packageSpecName only via the Multi-Row Query Settings window.
Note:
This capability is available only on IBM DB2.
packetEnabled (Boolean)
The packetEnabled attribute specifies whether you want rows retrieved in packets, as requested by the Container Details part, or all rows retrieved at once. This attribute gives the ability to buffer the items when large amounts of data are used to fill the view. The amount of data requested is only two times the visible portion of the view. The data is requested using the packedRequested event.
querySpecName (String)
The querySpecName attribute represents the name of the query specification.
readOnly (Boolean)
The readOnly attribute specifies that the user cannot modify the existing text.
resultTable (AbtQueryResultTable)
The resultTable attribute represents the actual Query Result Table part created by the database query.
self (<className>)
For more information on the self attribute, refer to Using the self attribute.
updateColumns (Collection)
The updateColumns attribute specifies a collection of column names that will be set in an update. If a column is not listed, it will not be updated.
updateIndex (Collection)
The updateIndex attribute specifies a collection of column names to be used as an index when locking and updating a row.
