Queries can be exported one at a time from the multi-row query, single-row query, or SQL statement settings windows.
Exporting from a multi-row query
To export from a multi-row query:
1. Select a query in the Query name drop-down list and select Export from page 2 of the Query Spec tab.
2. Specify a file name when you are prompted.
Exporting from a single-row query or SQL statement
To export from a single-row query or an SQL statement:
1. Select a query in the Query name drop-down list and select Export from Query menu of the settings window.
2. Specify a file name when prompted.
The export file is a plain text file containing the text of the SQL statement.
Conversely, any queries you have from another source can be imported by selecting Import from page 2 of the Query Spec tab on the multi-row query settings window or from the Query menu of the SQL statement settings window. Make sure the import file contains only the text of the SQL statement.
Imported queries are given a default name and description and cannot be edited in the SQL Editor. You can edit imported queries only by selecting Manual edit from page 2 of the Query Spec tab on the multi-row query settings window or from the Query menu of the SQL statement settings window.
