Domino Address Book Part Properties
Use the Domino address book part property list window to determine the properties of an address book part.
Configuration of this part includes dynamic retrieval of structural information about a Domino database. Configure the property settings in the order listed below. If another order is used, the available property values may not appear correctly in the property editors.
Use the following property settings to configure an address book part:
connectionAlias
Use the connectionAlias property to specify the name of the Domino connection specification you want to use. A Domino connection specification is used to access a specific Domino database.
viewName
Use the viewName property to select a name from the list of available views in the current database. Your view part will retrieve structural information about the selected Domino view. When you tear-off the view table attribute from a view part, you will get a multi column container details tree view to display the Domino views contents.
nameColumnName
Use the nameColumnName property to select the column from the currently selected view which holds the valid recipients.
createErrorReporter
Use the createErrorReporter property to automatically create an error reporter part. If you set this property to true, you can connect the tear-off error reporter part to a message box or prompter to handle possible errors. If you set this property to false, your application will bring up a walkback window when an error occurs.
partName
Use the partName property to set the mail part's name. The partName is displayed on the composition editor's free form surface.
