This chapter describes a collection of sample applications that are based on Domino or Notes 4.5 databases. If you don't have Domino or Notes 4.5 or later versions, you may not be able to build and run the applications. There is one demo application (Web publishing sample) that requires Domino or Notes 4.6.

The VA Smalltalk application named AbtNotesDemoApp45 contains all samples described in this chapter. Make sure you have performed the Preparation for Version 4.5 Samples before you start. If you have experience with this product and older versions of Lotus Notes, read the section titled Using Domino Version 4.5 and 4.6.
