Adding database function
To add database function to your server application, you use the nonvisual parts available with the VA: Database, DB2 CLI feature.
You use database nonvisual parts for a server application as you do for a client application. For information on using database parts, refer to the Database Guide.
To add database function:
1. Select MyDatabaseTCPIPApp in the Organizer, and select New > Part from the full Parts menu.
2. In the window that opens, name the part MyAccessSet, select Database access set for the part type, and select OK.
3. Using the Database connection specifications window, add a connection specification to the access set and establish a database connection.
