Adding a Proc Dialog
To add a Proc Dialog part to your application, do the following:
1. Select one of the following parts palette categories, depending upon which protocol you want to use:
•APPC
•CICS
•CPI-C
•MQI
•TCP/IP (which includes RPC)
2. Select the appropriate Proc Dialog part in the category you selected.
3. Add the selected part to an empty area of the free-form surface.
To specify connection details and record formats, open the settings of the proc dialog part. You can specify protocol-specific communication parameters for the selected proc dialog type.
