Select Version to make a version of a part edition.

You version a part to preserve its contents. A version cannot be changed. Thus, once you make a version of a part, you cannot change its contents. However, you can make a new edition of it, and then change it.

To version a part, you must be its developer. Further, all scripts used by the part must be loaded in the image.

For the Basic Menus, selecting Version prompts you for a version name.
