The System Transcript is one of the main product windows. It opens when you start VA Smalltalk and, when you close it, VA Smalltalk shuts down. To make more room on the screen, you can minimize it.

The System Transcript has menu options that enable you to access Smalltalk browsers, perform editing functions, and evaluate Smalltalk code.
