Runtime considerations
Because different machines can have different fonts installed, when a machine running a VA Smalltalk application is missing a font requested by VA Smalltalk, the default system font for that machine is used.
Cross-platform considerations
If you are designing your application to run on multiple platforms, consider the following:
You need to ensure that all machines that run your VA Smalltalk application have the fonts you select installed.
If you create an application that uses both single-byte character set (SBCS) data as well as double-byte character set (DBCS) data, you need to be careful with which fonts you specify. Fonts that might work on single-byte displays, might be invisible on double-byte displays.
Menu-bar choices
