Optional features
VAST Platform (VA Smalltalk) provides many capabilities in addition to those in the base product. You can gain access them easily by simply loading them into your working image. These additional features are often described in their own books although some features are described in the Programmer Guide. In general, the books describe

Communications/Transactions describes the communications capabilities of VAST Platform;
