Steps for exporting configuration maps
To export a version of a configuration map, do the following:
1. Open a Configuration Maps Browser.
2. From the Names menu, select Export. One or more windows open, prompting you for the location and name of the library storing the component.
3. Enter the library location. If you want to use native (FILE I/O) access, blank out the entry field; if you want to use shared (EMSRV) access, type the hostname or IP address of the EMSRV machine. Press OK.
Enter the library name. In the file selection prompter, either select the file that is the target of the export operation, or type its full pathname and filename.
A window opens, prompting you for the name and version of the configuration map you want to export.
4. Select a configuration map (left pane); then select a version of it (middle pane). Select >> to mark the version to be exported. You can select multiple configuration maps.
5. Select OK. The system moves a copy of the configuration map version and its released applications from the library you are currently using to the target library.
