Steps
To load a method using a standard browser, do the following:
1. Open an Applications Browser, Classes Browser, Hierarchy Browser, Application Browser, or Class Browser.
2. Select the application and class that contain the method.
3. From the Methods menu, select Available. A window is displayed, listing methods that you can load.
4. Select a method; then select OK. A Method Editions Browser opens on all editions of the method.
5. From the list of method editions, select the desired edition.
6. From the Methods menu, select Load Edition. The method edition is loaded into your image and is released to the class edition.
To load a method using TrailBlazer, do the following:
1. Open a TrailBlazer on Loaded Applications.
2. Select the application and class that contain the method.
3. Change the next list pane to be Avail. Instance Methods or Avail. Class Methods from the drop-down list. A list of the available methods appears in the list.
4. Select the name of the method you want to load. A new list pane opens that contains the editions of the selected method.
5. Select the edition to load.
6. From the Editions pop-up menu, select Load Edition. The method edition is loaded into your image and is released to the class edition.
