At the CodeGear booth, attendees saw demonstrations of JBuilder 2008 — now with the GUI creation ease of Swing Designer from Instantiations.

This created some buzz in the blogosphere:

In particular, I observed a boat load of questions and requests for demos for the new Swing Designer ... and the reactions were great.

CodeGear also sponsored an evening of beer and presentations at the Thirsty Bear Pub. Eric Clayberg from Instantiations was there, showing off Swing Designer to fans of JBuilder.
