Complex visual programs are very difficult to understand unless you are the person who
created them. When faced with a complex visual program (i.e., dozens, if not hundreds, of
criss-crossing green and blue lines), it would be nice to be able to focus on one part of
the program at a time. The Dynamic Linking feature makes it easy to do this by
automatically hiding all connections except those originating from or terminating at the
selected components. As new components are selected, the visible connections automatically
change to reflect the new selection. Coupled with the new Connection Filters feature, the developer can easily
focus on any subset of the visual behavior that they like.
