Parts Browser Manage Menus

VA Assist Enterprise/G 4.5 Only

VA Assist adds a "Manage" menu to the Parts Browser "Packages" menu. This gives you easy access to all of the edition management options and user management options that are normally only available in the workbench window.

Available Manage menu options include:

• Version - used to version an open edition of a package
• Version Scratch - used to version a scratch edition of a package
• Rename Version - used to change the version name of an existing version
• Release - use to release a package edition into its parent project
• Create Open Edition - used to create a new edition of an existing package version
• Create and Release Open Edition - used to create a new edition and immediately release it

Available User menu options include:

• Become Owner - allows the current user to become the owner of the selected package
• Change Owner - used to change the owner of the selected package
• Add User to Group - used to add a user to the selected package group
• Remove User from Group - used to remove a user from a package group
• Replace User in Group - used to replace a user in a package group
