To schedule the workspace to synchronize the source for a project with
an external target at a specified time, open the scheduler window, pull down the "Task" menu,
select the "New" submenu, and then select "Synchronize".
First select the VA Java project that you want to synchronize.
Normally, only the source will be synchronized, but an option is provided
to synchronize resources as well. Next select the external synchronization
target. This can either be a specified directory or an Eclipse/WSW/WSAD
project. When executed, this task will first run an export process to
export any changed types to the target. It will then run a matching import
process to import any changes made externally.
If you have the CodePro Studio
Eclipse/WSAD plug-in installed, a "Live synchronization" option
will be available on the "VA Assist |
WSAD/Eclipse" options page. With that option turned on, the
results of any export or synchronization operation between VA Java and
Eclipse/WSAD will be displayed immediately in Eclipse/WSAD.
Click the "Next >" button to schedule the
synchronization process.
