System Requirements

Please refer to hardware and operating system requirements that IBM specifies for the VisualAge product (listed below) with which you will be using your VA Assist Enterprise product.

VA Assist Enterprise currently supports:

• IBM VisualAge for Java, Enterprise Edition, version 4.0
• IBM VisualAge for Java, Enterprise Edition, version 3.5 (w/ Patch 1 or 2) or 3.5.3
• IBM VisualAge for Java, Enterprise Edition, version 3.0 or 3.0.2
• IBM VisualAge for Java, Enterprise Edition, version 3.0 or 3.0.2 - Early Adopters (Java 2)
• IBM VisualAge for Java, Entry Enterprise Edition (30-day trial only)
• IBM VisualAge Generator Developer, versions 3.0, 4.0, 4.5 (w/ Patch 1 or 2)
• IBM VisualAge Smalltalk, versions 4.0, 4.02, 4.5, 4.5a, 5.0, 5.01, 5.5 and 5.5.1

VA Assist/J Preview currently supports:

• IBM VisualAge for Java, Professional Edition, version 3.0, 3.0.2, 3.5 (w/ Patch 1 or 2), 3.5.3 or 4.0
• IBM VisualAge for Java, Entry Edition, version 3.0, 3.0.2, 3.5, 3.5.3 or 4.0

VA Assist products do not work with:

• IBM VisualAge for Java, version 2.0 (any)

Operating Systems currently supported:

• Windows 95
• Windows 98
• Windows ME
• Windows NT
• Windows 2000

Operating Systems not currently supported:

• Linux
• OS/2
