Use Enhanced Parts Browser

Determines whether VA Assist will enhance the VA Gen Parts Browser

Use Colors

Determines whether color highlighting is in effect within the VA Gen Parts Browser. Color highlighting allows the developer to quickly see which packages are open editions or scratch editions. The default colors that are used may be changed via the "VA Assist | Browser" options page.

Filter Packages

Determines whether the package list is filtered within the VA Gen Parts Browser. Any view filter that is selected in the workbench window will be reflected in the Parts Browser.

Filter Types

Determines whether the types list is filtered within the VA Gen Parts Browser. Only types that have defined elements will be shown. Empty types will be hidden.

Auto-Start Parts Browser

Determines whether the VA Gen Parts Browser will be automatically launched when VisualAge starts up.

Minimize Workbench Windows

Determines whether the VisualAge Java workbench windows should be minimized when VisualAge starts up (allowing the user to fully focus on the VA Gen Parts Browser).
