Most VA Java settings are stored
in the IDE.INI file. Complex settings, like key
bindings, keyword completions, macros
and resource associations are only
stored in the workspace file and can be lost in the event that the
workspace file in replaced. VA Assist provides the means to export many of
these complex settings to external files so that they may be re-loaded
into a new workspace file.
Key binding profiles can be loaded from the repository using the "Load"
button, imported from files using the "Import" button, or exported to files using the "Export"
button.
Keyword completions can be imported from files using the "Import"
button, or exported to files using the "Export" button.
Macros can be imported from files using the "Import"
button, or exported to files using the "Export" button.
Resource associations can be imported from files using the "Import"
button, or exported to files using the "Export" button.
